Metalcoating S.r.l. was founded in 1984 by my father, Angelo Buratti. His experience gained over the years in the industrial field of coating applied to the electroplating industry, took him to the United States of America to learn about the latest technologies which he then brought to the Italian market, starting a career rich in innovation. The passion for protective and decorative coatings spurred Metalcoating on to delve into the market of automated buffer browning (first patent) tin plating, copper plating, chrome plating and finally the chemical nickel plating processes. The expertise gained in a decade, and the incessant demand for a treatment that would provide guarantees, in aesthetic and functional terms, based on the corrosion resistance, resulted in the decision to focus all development in the field of chemical nickel plating at high phosphorus content. It is precisely in this period, where after continuous improvement and development of a very complex system, that Metalcoating specialized in the field of chemical nickel plating with a unique and special product called “MetalenP”. Even before people had begun to speak about chemical nickel for the food industry, we were already ready to face this challenge with a version of MetalenP called MetalenP NSF, accrediting us with the term of pioneers between 2000 and 2003, where we were the first to achieve the NSF standard 51 certification for the American food sector.
In subsequent years, MetalenP NSF completely replaced MetalenP, always remaining a step ahead of the competition. The relentless quest to answer the question: “What can we do that is new today?” It has taken us to a place where the main engines of our growth are our fantasy, our passion and our determination to achieve results. Our products will never be the same as the competition, this is because we stand out from the others due to the fact that the full realisation of our product is exclusively formulated within our company, according to market demands and our experience. The technology of chemical nickel has changed dramatically during recent years, and we are developing new formulations that will result in a coating that will rewrite the basics of chemical nickel. Our goal is to partner with our customers with the aim to introduce ever more advanced chemical nickel into the world market.
